This introductory Canadian Law course will explore how a law is made, an overview of criminal law, courts and trials while finishing with an introduction to the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. This course explores a variety of topics and issues within Canadian law in order to expose students to the breadth of the Canadian legal system. Using real, Canadian cases as a point of discussion and engagement, this course will function as lecture-based. There will be activities throughout the recordings where you can pause to test your own understanding.
